Florida Repertory Theatre – “Southwest Florida’s Premier Professional Theatre!” 

The Florida Repertory Theatre is a nonprofit professional performing theatre located in the heart of the Fort Myers River District. Florida Rep is Lee County’s largest nonprofit performing arts organization and its work has garnered national attention for the seventh consecutive season.  

The Wall Street Journal's acclaimed drama critic and best-selling author, Terry Teachout, gave Florida Rep a sterling review, calling its January 2014 production of Arsenic and Old Lace "very, very funny!" adding to his 2009 praise, when he told two-million readers nationwide to "Make haste to Fort Myers, where the weather is warm and the theater fine!"

Outside Mullingar

The 1971 film adaptation starring Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey won a record 8 Academy Awards and was nominated for Best Picture.
