A exceptional experience for exceptional children aged 3 to 5, this inclusive Pre-School believes learning can be fun and proves it every day.  Small groups are staffed by real, loving, certified teachers and highly trained Infant Toddler Development Specialists who get to know you and your child so they can give you and your child the personalized advantages, direction and attention he or she needs.  

Teachers and staff are available to parents and provide a detailed parent teacher conference every 6 months.  More often if you wish.  Free VPK and partial scholarships are available for qualified families

The partnership between the parent and early childhood education staff is essential to the learning and success of every child. Features of the early childhood education program at IMPACT that support high quality learning include:

  • Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) free tuition voucher provider.

De LaSalle Academy is a not-for-profit private school for young people, grades 1 through 12, who live with learning challenges. De LaSalle serves students from Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. In addition to a rigorous academic program designed for students who learn differently, De LaSalle Academy provides on-site clinical services in occupational therapy, counseling and speech-language pathology. De LaSalle Academy offers a beacon of hope to young people with diagnoses that range from autism to Aspergerís Syndrome to dyslexia.

There are many factors that can affect learning. De LaSalle Academy delivers a program of instruction and therapy that supports a variety of learning challenges, including:

  • Language-Based Learning Disorders
  • Dyslexia
  • Processing Disorders
  • Aspergers & High Functioning Autism
  • Mild Mood / Anxiety Disorders
  • Attention Deficit Disorder

The Academic Program Includes:

  • A full curriculum emphasizing both group and individualized instruction in reading, math, spelling, and writing, as well as classes in science, social studies, physical education, music, and the arts
  • Nurturing relationships between teachers and students which foster academic growth and self-esteem
  • Daily opportunities for success in academic areas
  • Age-appropriate grouping of students in classes and by division level
  • Supplemental materials and instructional approaches designed to match a variety of learning styles and needs
  • Technology, word processing, and web-based research skills integrated into the curriculum
  • High academic expectations for each student
  • Inclusion of students in goal-setting, promoting a constant emphasis on achieving a personal best
  • Therapeutic solutions to help students learn to overcome, cope with, or compensate for any deficits in order to function at their optimum potential intellectually, academically, socially, and emotionally
