Dave had been living in St Petersburg and Neida was living in Key West before fate brought them together while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard at Ft Myers Beach in 1987.  Dave was an electronics technician and Neida was a diesel engineer.  They met, they fell in love, and it wasn't long before they got married.

Dave got out of the service first and started a lawn service while waiting for Neida to get discharged.  After Neida was discharged, they decided to run the business together.  It wasn't long before they saw a need for sprinkler system repairs and irrigation systems. 

For the next 8 years, the 2 of them ran Dave's Sprinkler Repair as a small Mom & Pop business.  They have always been a reliable business that treated their customers they way they wanted to be treated.  Then came the changing point.  With the way that the sprinkler repair portion of their business was going, Neida saw a way to grow the business and actually be able to add better service and more value.  Dave saw that she was on top of it, and decided to let her run everything.  That was about 1996. 

Since then, Neida has taken a small repair business and built it to 4 trucks, about 7 times revenue, and is still able to keep that personal touch of a Mom & Pop business by the way she runs and dispatches everything.  If you ask her, she will tell you the difference between them and the big guys is that the owner answers the phone, you don't have to press 1 for English, and if you have a problem, Neida will personally be standing on your property to make sure you get taken care of.  She bids all the jobs, she and Dave do all the inspections, and they run their business and treat their customers the way they want to be treated.

They also do complete irrigation systems, pumps, controls, and do inspired low voltage yard and landscape lighting.  They have joined forces with a landscaper to become a one-stop-shop for all your irrigation, landscaping and lighting needs.

Neida and Dave have 2 boys and 1 girl.  Their oldest son is in college and helps with the business.  The other 2 are still in high school.  They love to travel, scuba dive, take underwater photography, play tennis, garden and spend time with their family.

They are hoping that their kids will get their education and take over the family business so they can spend their time with grandkids and traveling.
