The 4th Annual Senior Friendly Extravaganza! presented by Mature Lifestyles magazine is coming to the Lee Civic Center, Ft. Myers, FL on Wed. & Thurs., Oct. 15 & 16, 2008, from 10am until 4pm each day.

The event features over 200 "Senior-Friendly" booths with information on senior services, lifestyles, health and wellness, finance, travel and more.

The Senior Friendly Extravaganza! offers FREE parking, FREE admission, FREE food and drink, FREE entertainment, FREE health screenings, and FREE prizes and giveaways to its senior attendees.

This year we celebrate the American Bandstand tradition with American Bandstand recording artists Mary Swan of "My Heart Belongs to Only You" & "Crying in the Chapel" fame, Ken Brady of the Casinos with “Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye”, & Nashville recording artist Marti Carroll (“Backtrack”). Also Denise Looney - “The DJ with a Twist”, Magic & Balloon Art by Luis, FAB-TATstic Art, Fritzy the "One Man Circus” & more!

Vote for the best cars of 50s & 60s! Trophies will be awarded for the winning cars on Thursday.

Again this year, we will have ”The Grandkids are the Greatest" Photo Contest. Seniors have submitted photos for 3 months and selected photos are published in Mature Lifestyles magazine each month. The photos are on display both days at the "Extravaganza!” Winners are announced Thursday. Senior Fun Walk
Join the fun on Thursday 10/16. Warm ups and “Walk” start at 9:00 am. It is a one mile walk around the beautiful grounds of the Lee Civic Center. There is only a $3 charity donation. Walkers will enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, sponsor “Goodie Bag”, Walk Certificate, and a T-Shirt to the 1st 100 walkers to sign up. Prizes to the Winners!
