What is this about? This is a place for pointing with pride and viewing with concern things that impact us locally here in SW Florida. Share your thoughts about taxes, government, our community leaders, oil & gas prices, impacts and solutions, or people who are making a difference in our community that don't get the acknowledgement they deserve (take this last point either way).
This is a great place to share your story about a random act of kindness that made your day, ways to positively deal with what is going on and happening around us, or about how to get more enjoyment out of life.
We even want you to tell us how you deal with all the negatives and still stay positive! If we all pitch in and help, we can make our lives feel useful and make a difference by helping to create a closer community.
You don't
need to be an editorial writer, just be able to express a thought or tell a
simple story. Keep it short, clean, and to the point, and we'll help you
express your 2 Cents to the community. Then be sure and read what others
have submitted. Adding your 2 Cents makes sense if you want to help change
