Pirate Festival
To Be Held On Old San Carlos Boulevard As A Street Festival. Pirate Crews will perform as street entertainers, musicians and enactments.  An entire weekend of family fun is planned.  Children and adults alike will delight in searching for ‘buried treasure’.  There will be games, vendors with pirate trinkets and even a Pirate Ship.  A Pub Crawl is planned for Saturday evening, while a Pirate Ball is planned for Sunday evening.  It’s non-stop Pirate fun for the whole family.  For more information, contact the Fort Myers Beach Chamber at 239-454-7500.

At the German American Social Club in Cape Coral (See Below For Directions)
Come for the fun and fellowship with continuous music from 3 stages, great
German and ethnic food, German and American beer, dancing, and a great
sense of community.  This is the 23rd year for this event that draws tens of thousands from all over Florida.  There will be plenty to do for the whole family including rides and games in a carnival atmosphere, plus hand crafts and souvenir items.  This is the most fun you can have in Oct in SWFL!

Sand Sculpting Festival
This event will be held on  the beach between Outrigger Beach Resort and the Holiday Inn of Fort Myers Beach with Sand Magic Village at Pointe Estero and GullWing Beach Resorts.  Sculptors from all over the world will be entering this contest for cash prizes.  It is a unique event that is free to the public.  Event goers will be treated to some unique artwork done in the sand as well as the opportunity to make purchases at Sand Magic Village.  At the village vendors, crafters and food purveyors will be available.  There are sand events for pros, semi-pros and amateurs.  The amateurs features local businesses and families that get in on the fun.  The event ends with an award ceremony on Sunday.
